We are looking for a highly motivated Project Manager (Investment-focused) to join our regional renewable energy team based in Singapore. This role will focus on managing and supporting renewable energy investment projects across Southeast Asia.
The ideal candidate should possess in-depth industry knowledge of the renewable energy sector, complemented by strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead feasibility studies, financial modelling, and due diligence for renewable energy investment projects.
- Evaluate commercial viability, regulatory frameworks, and risk profiles of potential projects.
- Develop investment proposals, project reports, and business case presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate with consultants, EPC partners, and internal teams to drive project approvals and progress.
- Oversee project timeline, milestones, and documentation throughout the investment lifecycle.
- Monitor industry trends, market intelligence, and regional energy policy updates.
- Support the identification and development of new renewable energy opportunities aligned with the company’s strategy.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across finance, technical, legal, and operations.
- Prepare and lead presentations to senior management and investors.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Energy, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in energy investment, project development, or infrastructure finance, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
- In-depth understanding of renewable energy project investment cycles, including market assessment, project origination, financial modelling, due diligence, and risk evaluation.
- Familiar with Southeast Asia’s renewable energy landscape, energy policies, permitting processes, and regulatory environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin; multilingual ability in a Southeast Asian language is an advantage.
- Willing to travel regionally when required.
