This role is to support the organization in managing privacy, data protection, and compliance matters across the business. This role plays a key part in ensuring adherence to applicable data protection laws and internal compliance frameworks.

Requirements

Degree in Law, Compliance, Risk Management, or a related discipline
Strong knowledge of personal data protection laws, regulations, principles, and best practices within the region
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant working experience in data protection, compliance, or legal support roles

Responsibilities:

Monitor, interpret, and advise on data protection and privacy laws relevant to the business
Develop, implement, and maintain data protection policies, frameworks, and SOPs, including data breach response and regional incident reporting procedures
Conduct regular privacy risk assessments, data mapping, and gap analyses
Assist in drafting, reviewing, updating, and implementing compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls
Support the rollout and delivery of compliance and data protection training programs for employees
Assist with drafting and reviewing legal documents, contracts, and internal policies
Provide support on legal and regulatory matters as required
Support budgeting, invoice processing, and general compliance-related administrative tasks
