Sales & Marketing Assistant Manager - Geylang

Job Summary:

The Sales and Marketing Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting and executing strategic business partnerships with our distributors and key partners to deliver sustainable and profitable growth for both parties, whilst hitting agreed divisional targets in assigned markets within Asia.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales and Planning Responsibilities:

• Support development of distribution, sales results and profit contribution in assigned markets.
• Monitor sales performance and pre-empt any possible risks and opportunities to ensure the region achieved overall business goals
• Launches new products and products price architecture for AQ/CA brands
• Stay abreast with market intelligence and competitors in market movement over various countries.
• Support joint business planning with distributors and their respective accounts to expand channel network and performances.
• Review and support feedbacks/inquiry from distributors, end consumers and supply chain team
• Monitor all forecast by distributors and aligned with Supply Chain team
• Review and manage trademarks and licensing executions

Marketing Responsibilities:

• Assist in develop, implement and control marketing strategies to support AQ and CA brands growth
• Manage and coordinate all sales & marketing activities with distributors.
• Support the distributors in terms of marketing activities and execution of planned activities
• Coordinates with teams on marketing-related projects
• Support projects on development and maintenance of digital marketing and
• Prepare presentations and other digital marketing materials to best support marketing and sales activities
• Liaise with vendors, pet associations, regulators and event organisers for marketing related matters
• Maintains relationships with service providers, advertising and digital agencies, freelancers and subcontractors

Regulatory and QA Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with distributor to understand regulatory guides for assigned markets
• Support team on liaising of regulatory documentation needs
• Review all damaged products feedback and support recovery process

Education and Experience Profile:

• Bachelor’s Degree – preferably in the field of International Business or marketing.· Min 3 years’ experience in Regional sales and marketing and Distributor management role, preferably in Pet Specialty, Infant Food or Fast Moving Consumer Goods environment.

Key Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Strong knowledge of retail & trade operations, category management, margin contributions and buying practices in Asian markets
• Experience managing Distributors, Key Retailers and Vendors with strong existing relationships.
• Able to nurture and grow internal & customer relationships to influence positive outcomes for the overall strategies
• Experience in Channel Management
• Proficient in planning, analytical and numerical skills, with strong business acumen
• Excellent value selling and negotiating skills
• Ability to manage own time and evaluate priorities – Able to balance short- and long-term deliverables
• Resilience, ability to work independently and commercially driven
• Passionate, energetic and creative person with a natural competitive spirit
• Strong problem solving and fact-finding skills
