Job Overview

Support the Research n Development of all new initiatives within Aegis and Optimise its processes.

Responsibilities & Duties

New Product Development:

Support the conceptualization and development of new products for novel applications, ensuring feasibility and technical soundness.

Equipment Installation & Commissioning:

Assist in setting up and commissioning new machinery and systems as per project requirements.

Product Improvement:

Analyze existing products and processes, recommending and implementing enhancements to improve performance, efficiency, or cost-effectiveness.

Experimental Analysis:

Design, execute, and analyze experiments. Compile data and report findings to guide future development.

Risk Assessment:

Conduct detailed risk assessments on new materials and equipment to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.

SOP Development & IP Protection:

Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production while safeguarding proprietary processes and intellectual property.

Administrative & Coordination Support:

Provide administrative and coordination assistance to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for seamless project execution and communication across teams.

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Materials, or Polymer Engineering/Science
2–3 years of relevant working experience in R&D or manufacturing environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic data analysis tools
Familiar with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and/or lab equipment for testing and analysis
Independent, diligent, and demonstrates a positive work attitude
Physically fit to carry moderate loads
