Our client is an engineering services company and they have a job opening for the IT Auditor(Manager/ Senior Manager) position

This role is a senior-level position within an internal audit function, focusing on the governance and risk management of Information Technology systems. It requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for high-level stakeholders.

• Audit Strategy & Planning: Assist in shaping the annual IT audit plan and developing reporting packages specifically for the Group Audit Committee.
• Engagement Leadership: Lead IT and integrated audits from the initial planning stages through to final reporting, ensuring all work meets quality standards and deadlines.
• Methodology Improvement: Contribute to the continuous refinement of audit methodologies, programs, and internal best practices.
• Stakeholder Management: Present findings at closing meetings and to the Audit Committee, offering feasible recommendations aligned with corporate directives.
• Team Development & Oversight: Provide hands-on coaching and technical training to team members and manage the performance of outsourced internal audit partners.
• Technical Analysis: Identify root causes of system failures or risks using data analytics and modern auditing tools to evaluate organizational exposure.
• Special Projects: Oversee initiatives focused on automation, data analytics, and departmental knowledge sharing.

• Risk-Based Auditing: Proficiency in applying risk-based auditing techniques and professional judgment to complex IT environments.
• Data Analytics: Ability to utilize data-driven tools to identify gaps and improve audit efficiency.
• Project Management: Strong capability to manage multiple assignments and projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality outputs.
• Communication Skills: Excellence in preparing concise reports and delivering professional presentations to executive-level committees.
• Technical Coaching: Experience in mentoring junior staff and managing external vendors or outsourced resources.
• Travelling is around 30+%
