About the Role

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Maintenance Engineer to support the administration of maintenance contracts for water treatment-related projects in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

• Administer maintenance contracts, ensuring compliance with contract terms and deliverables.
• Process work orders, verify invoices, and prepare monthly or bi-monthly progress claims for maintenance subcontractors.
• Attend coordination and progress meetings with subcontractors.
• Work closely with site teams to resolve maintenance-related issues with subcontractors, escalating when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of contract-related documents and communications.
• Review and validate maintenance logs and service reports submitted by contractors.
• Provide support during audits and contract reviews by ensuring traceable and complete paperwork.
• Assist in tracking budgets, cost items, and contract variations, raising timely alerts for discrepancies.
• Liaise with engineers, operators to address administrative and minor technical queries.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in water treatment-related, wastewater, or desalination projects.
• Familiarity with plant operations in water treatment, wastewater treatment, and/or desalination.
• Strong ability to manage contract administration and maintain accurate documentation.
• Experience in attending meetings and resolving site issues with subcontractors is required.
• Prior hands-on maintenance experience is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and comfortable using project/contract management tools.
