PProcurement Engineer (Fabrication)

Manage component sourcing on Mechanical Sheet Metal commodities
Overall ownership to drive cost reduction and value creation initiatives through

negotiations, alternate sourcing, localizations, VAVE, supplier consolidations

Establish wide supplier network to facilitate both Sourcing and Procurement activities,

leading strategic relationship with critical suppliers

Identify redesign cost reduction opportunities
Drive component lead time improvement, Payment terms, delivery terms, MOQ/SPQ

reduction and Optimizations

Develop and maintain strategic supplier relationships to meet quality, cost, delivery and

capacity requirement

Collaborate closely with Engineering, operations and product team, plan & drive

execution of all Procurement & Sourcing activities.

Monitor global market trend and implement proactive risk mitigation and contingency

Strategies on EOL, Single source parts

Provide part & tool cost assessment during NPI, ECN phase
Interface with Engineering on design review/ECN/Part changes & provide resolutions on

all technical issues.

AOS Management during build phase and initial production phase

Requirements:

Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Possess good experience in handing Metal Fabrications, Plastics Tool & Die
Min 5 -7 years of relevant work experience in Sourcing field
Good communication and interpersonal skills, good team player
Able to start work within short notice period will be an added advantage
