Associate - Compliance, Policy & Regulatory - Bukit Merah

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Managing the regulatory relationships of Mizuho through pro-active regulatory engagement and maintaining a good working relationship with the regulators
• Managing all regulatory requests, inquiries and examinations by coordinating with internal stakeholders including senior management to address and respond to regulatory issues on a timely basis
• Keeping abreast of regulatory developments, managing regulatory consultations and overseeing regulatory change implementation
• Assisting in the formulation and/or review of compliance framework, policies and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• Identifying and managing compliance and regulatory risks
• Conducting periodic internal compliance trainings and compliance risk assessments
• Assisting in ad-hoc regulatory projects

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g. Accountancy, Business Studies, Law)
• 5 years of financial sector experience, with 3 years in related roles.
• Experience in regulatory analysis and implementation.
• Possess strong stakeholder management skills; effective writing and comprehension skills.
• MAS Regulatory liaison experience will be viewed favorably.
