Mechanical Engineer (Marine)

Job Summary

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support testing, troubleshooting, servicing, and maintenance activities for marine control systems and equipment. This role provides hands-on exposure to governors, gas valves, and SOGAV systems, while working closely with experienced engineers in a dynamic marine and offshore environment.

Candidates will gain practical field service experience, technical problem-solving skills, and opportunities to develop engineering knowledge through structured training and cross-functional collaboration.

• Perform testing, troubleshooting, and field servicing for Governors, Gas Valves, and SOGAV systems
• Support engineering activities in accordance with project schedules and operational requirements
• Assist in identifying technical issues and escalate complex problems to senior engineers when required
• Carry out routine engineering and maintenance tasks using established procedures and standards
• Support process improvement initiatives and continuous operational enhancements
• Prepare basic technical reports, service documentation, and maintenance records
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth project and service execution
• Ensure compliance with company safety, quality, and technical standards
• Provide on-site technical guidance and support during servicing, testing, or commissioning activities

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Basic troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and basic engineering software/tools
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering standards
• Basic understanding of mechanical components, testing methods, and manufacturing processes
• Strong time management and willingness to learn in a hands-on environment
• Team player with the ability to work independently when required
