- Responsible for creating original content for the website, social media platforms in collaboration with various departments to raise the visibility of ACMI and its mission.
- Support the MARCOM team in videography, photography, and graphics design work to create engaging content for campaigns and events.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design creative solutions for a variety of uses: campaigns, events, websites, email templates, social media, photography, and for any other digital platforms.
- Supporting photo, video and editing needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver designs that are creative, useful, and align with technical and ACMI’s mission values to raise engagement/visibility of ACMI’s programmes, events, website, and social media.
- Take ideas from concept to execution, working with project managers, web vendor, IT and Marcom team to deliver effective communication campaigns and publicity.
- Work with the team to integrate copy with designs for all materials and digital media for optimal SEO results
- Work with different types of web content which may consist of text, graphics, pictures, recordings, movies, or other media.
- Key liaison with external web developer/vendor and internal IT team to keep website current and technically SEO optimised and ensure that UX/UI of website is improved as behaviour/trends change.
- Responsible for managing, including final posts, for all social media platforms for pre and post event publicity, and updating website content when necessary.
- Stay current on latest graphic design applications and digital tools/trends and propose digital solutions.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and handle multiple ongoing projects simultaneously
- Able to work on weekends when necessary
- Undertake any other appropriate projects, tasks and responsibilities as required and assigned.
- Minimum Diploma or equivalent in Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, Mass Communication, or related fields.
- Passionate about multimedia design with a creative flair.
- Strong digital proficiency in graphics design and video editing apps/platforms. Experience in videography, photography, video production, graphic design, project management.
- Strong working knowledge of and skills in MS Office, content management software, including Adobe programmes (Premier Pro, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Joomla and WordPress.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Be proactive, reliable, responsible, accurate, and meticulous.
- Adaptable, flexible in multitasking and able to juggle several tasks simultaneously
- Able to handle uncertainties, work under pressure, and tight timelines.
- Ability to work independently with little guidance and comfortable to work as part of a team.
- Familiar and comfortable working in settings such as communities and religious voluntary welfare organisations and working in collaboration with other agencies and ministries.
- Experience in working with people of different nationalities and cultures is helpful.
