Commercial Manager - Bukit Batok

The Commercial Manager plays a critical role in driving the profitability and growth of the business by developing and executing commercial strategies, managing key customer relationships, and overseeing pricing, contracts, and sales performance to achieve budgeted sales.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing the sales strategy for the Business Unit by understanding the value drivers of the business and identifying profitable commercial/sales opportunities to grow market share.
• Responsible for exploring new opportunities, whilst ensuring that regular reviews are carried out with existing customers, to ensure that their needs are being met.
• Accurately forecast and develop business plans that build account revenue.
• Accurately forecast stock requirements whilst ensuring target levels are maintained.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth with new and existing customers.
• Managing the sales team to ensure that customer requirements are fully communicated, sales targets are set and managed in a timely manner.
• Maintaining an awareness of external factors which impact the business.
• Collating and analyzing business data pertaining to all commercial activities and presenting on a monthly basis.

Requirement:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with minimum 8 years of relevant experience in a similar role within Metal/Oil & Gas/Precision Engineering industry.
• Extensive experience in Sales and understanding of Operations.
• Understanding of managing Inventory
• Excellent Interpersonal and management skills.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Resourcefulness for information, strategical, forward thinking and planning to achieve end-results set by management
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced, dynamic and challenging environment.
• Ability to travel when required.
