Technical Authority

IDEMIA is a global leader in identity technologies, serving governments and enterprises worldwide. In our Public Security division, we deliver mission-critical solutions in biometrics, secure systems, and large-scale infrastructure for transportation and border management.

We are seeking multiple Technical Authority, this role develops the core technical platform, capabilities, and services that efficiently support business processes and data while optimizing cost in close collaboration with the solution or software architect.

• Maps the relationships between IT platform or infrastructure components (i.e. Technology End Users, IT Systems Software and Hardware, and Info-Communications Transmission Networks)
• Identifies the key technology interactions and dependencies across systems or platforms impacting the ability to achieve integration, compatibility, and performance and security targets at optimized cost
• Develops and documents IT architecture specifications that serve as the reference for verification, integration and deployment
• Provides cost estimate of the IT platform or infrastructure alternatives (including both software and hardware)
• Analyzes and Provides design for simple or large solutions in autonomy, and with guidance for complex solutions including multiple IT technologies
• Leads a small team of architects and drives them toward a common goal

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience in a senior technical or architecture role (e.g., Solution Architect, Principal Engineer, Lead Developer).
• Deep expertise in at least one IT domain (Cloud, Infrastructure, Networking, Security, Data, or Applications).
• Strong understanding of enterprise IT architecture and integration patterns.
• Experience defining and implementing governance frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, NIST).
• Professional certifications (examples depending on focus area):
• Cloud – AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Architect.
• Security – CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer.
• Networking/Infra – CCNP, CCIE, VMware Certified Design Expert (VCDX).
• Data – TOGAF, DAMA, Azure Data Engineer, Snowflake Architect.
