Senior Principal Process Engineer - Toa Payoh

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead process engineering activities and design development across all project phases, including Concept, FEED, and Detailed Engineering.
• Perform process simulations using Aspen HYSYS to develop, evaluate, and optimize process configurations.
• Prepare Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Utility Flow Diagrams (UFDs), Heat & Material Balances, and Utility Balances.
• Develop and update Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) in accordance with project specifications and best practices.
• Prepare comprehensive datasheets for process equipment and instrumentation.
• Conduct relief and blowdown studies, perform relief load calculations, and execute flare network analysis using Aspen FlareNet or equivalent tools.
• Carry out detailed equipment sizing and line hydraulics calculations to ensure optimal system performance.
• Create Process Design Philosophies, Control Narratives, and Operating Manuals.
• Contribute to the development of Concept Studies, Feasibility Reports, FEED packages, and Detailed Design documentation.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of process deliverables with overall project objective

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in process engineering design, preferably within FPSO, Oil & Gas, and LNG terminal projects.
• Strong experience with Aspen HYSYS for steady-state process simulation and design.
• Proficiency in Aspen FlareNet (or equivalent flare system analysis tools) for relief load and flare network modeling.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing process engineering teams for Concept, FEED, and Detailed Design stages.
• Deep knowledge of PFDs, P&IDs, and process control integration.
• Familiarity with international engineering codes, standards, and best practices.
• Preference given to candidates with experience as a Lead Process Engineer or Area Lead Engineer, especially on hydrocarbon and energy transition projects.
