Global Employee Relations Operations Senior Manager

Micron is seeking a forward‑thinking Senior Manager to lead global Employee Relations (ER) operations, governance, analytics, and technology enablement. Based in Singapore — supporting global time‑zone coverage and operational resilience — this role strengthens the global ER operating model through improved processes, programs, systems, compliance frameworks, and data‑driven insights that empower ER teams worldwide.

This position works in close partnership with a peer based in North America to ensure seamless global coordination, shared stewardship of enterprise‑wide ER priorities, and balanced operational coverage around the clock.

This role does not manage day‑to‑day individual ER cases. Instead, it designs, governs, and advances the global systems, policies, analytics, and technology capabilities that enable regional ER teams to operate consistently, effectively, and in alignment with business and compliance expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee global ER operational performance, including visibility into caseloads, distribution patterns, trends, quality indicators, process compliance, efficiency measures, customer‑experience themes, and support for escalations.
  • Lead global ER programs such as ER leader training, accommodations processes, surveys and exit interviews, proactive ER interventions, and the ongoing evolution of ER digital resource platforms (SharePoint and other knowledge repositories).
  • Own and enhance global ER procedures — including the Investigations SOP, Consultations Playbook, workforce reduction and severance compliance workflows, Anti‑Harassment & Discrimination policy content, Team Member Handbook governance, and the global ER procedures repository — while strengthening ER governance through rigorous documentation management, version control, auditability, and scalable global operating standards.
  • Drive ER‑owned audit activities (e.g. ER Quality & Compliance Audit, SOP Compliance Audit) and support multifunctional audit programs (e.g., Labor‑related components of the RBA Code, Internal Audits, local regulatory reviews, and sustainability‑linked governance requirements).
  • Lead ER analytics and reporting, including dashboards, automated reporting mechanisms, predictive insights, trend analyses, and executive‑ready data storytelling.
  • Oversee the global ER case management system, ensuring data integrity, workflow optimization, system enhancements, and alignment with evolving operational and compliance standards.
  • Advance technology and AI adoption within ER, including workflow automation, AI‑assisted insights generation, digital platform enhancements, and updates to ER policies to address AI‑related risks such as fraud, malicious use, and data‑integrity concerns.
  • Provide oversight of all ER projects globally — leading global ER initiatives and ensuring alignment, execution, and governance, while also tracking and maintaining visibility into local ER projects across regions.
  • Support global business initiatives (e.g., organizational restructuring efforts) through ER‑related alignment, documentation updates, and change‑management contributions.

Qualifications

Required
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Employee Relations, HR Operations and Labor Compliance (all three) in the semiconductor manufacturing industry.
  • Experience ( Demostrated success) in leading or supporting global or multi‑regional ER initiatives, including organizational restructures, with proven ability to build, manage, and enhance global ER policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks.
  • Strong analytical capability, including dashboard development, data interpretation, and insights‑driven storytelling to drive proactive ER programs and interventions.
  • Experience with HR technologies, specifically EthicsPoint case management system, Workday, SharePoint, PowerBI and other data analytics tools, and using AI effectively to drive quality and efficiency.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability and experience to influence across cultures, geographies, time zones, and functions.
Preferred
  • Experience with AI‑enabled tools, workflow automation, or digital transformation within HR/ER.
  • Background in audit methodologies, compliance programs, or risk governance.
  • Experience in global policy harmonization or scaling enterprise‑level operating model changes.
  • Familiarity with cross‑functional audit programs such as RBA or sustainability‑related reporting.
