Role Overview
We’re looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support day-to-day operations and ensure smooth service on the floor. This role is hands-on and requires someone who is comfortable leading a team while being actively involved during service.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Service- Support daily restaurant operations (lunch and dinner service)
- Ensure service runs smoothly and efficiently
- Maintain service standards and consistency
- Handle guest feedback and resolve issues promptly
- Supervise and guide service staff during shifts
- Assist with staff training and onboarding
- Help with scheduling and shift planning
- Maintain a positive and professional team environment
- Ensure guests are well taken care of
- Build rapport with regular customers
- Support reservations and table management
- Encourage upselling where appropriate
- Monitor daily covers and service flow
- Support initiatives to improve revenue and efficiency
- Assist with reservation systems and basic reporting
- Support inventory checks and coordination with kitchen
- Ensure cleanliness and operational standards are met
- 2–4 years of experience in F&B, preferably in a supervisory role
- Comfortable managing a team and handling service pressure
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Organised and reliable
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
