Sembawang - Technical manager

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Technical Manager to lead and oversee our technical operations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background, leadership expertise, and a proactive approach to solving complex problems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers, technicians, and technical staff.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of all technical projects.
• Collaborate with other departments
• Develop and implement engineering and technical standards, best practices, and quality control processes.
• Manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively for all technical initiatives.
• Provide expert-level guidance and troubleshooting support on complex technical challenges.
• Stay up to date with the latest technologies and tools in the industry to enhance efficiency.
• Ensure all work complies with regulatory, environmental, and safety standards.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and third-party vendors regarding technical matters.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years relevant working experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience in managing technical teams and delivering complex projects.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and team management abilities.
• Experience with budgeting and cost control related to technical operations.
• Familiar with applicable safety and industry regulations.
