- Support the adoption of global data standards and operationalize governance processes within the regional business context.
- Lead the identification and mapping of essential data elements to ensure consistency across various platforms and reporting lines.
- Work with cross-functional partners to deliver data-focused initiatives, including metadata management, data modeling, and standardization.
- Monitor data quality through profiling and assessments, creating comprehensive dashboards and metrics for management oversight.
- Stay updated on regional data regulations and conduct gap analyses to ensure all implementations meet strict compliance and risk standards.
- Translate technical data requirements into clear, accessible insights for non-technical business owners and regional stewards.
skills and experience required:
- 10+ years of experience within Data Management, Data Governance, or a related analytical field, ideally within a large-scale financial institution.
- Proven experience in managing critical data attributes, data standards, and control frameworks.
- A solid understanding of the impact of data governance on regulatory reporting and compliance.
- Familiarity with data governance principles, metadata tools, and an understanding of data pipelines or warehouse structures.
- Highly organized and analytical, with the ability to deliver high-quality outcomes independently under tight deadlines in a matrixed environment.
