Director of Enrolment, International School
About the role
This is a highly visible leadership role with the opportunity to shape and revamp the admissions function, strengthen market presence, and drive sustainable student enrolment growth in a competitive international education landscape. You will lead enrolment strategy, elevate the parent journey, and build a high-performing admissions function aligned with the school's long-term vision and premium positioning.
Key responsibilities- Lead the overall admissions and enrolment strategy to support student growth and retention objectives
- Drive a premium and seamless parent journey from enquiry through enrolment and onboarding
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing admissions and parent engagement team
- Establish KPIs across conversion, enrolment, retention, service quality, and parent experience
- Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and enrolment data to support strategic planning
- Develop strong relationships with corporate partners, embassies, and the wider expat community
- Represent the school at open houses, education fairs, networking events, and external engagements
- Partner closely with marketing and leadership teams on brand positioning and outreach initiatives
- Oversee admissions operations, reporting, pipeline management, and process optimisation
- Lead initiatives to improve retention, family engagement, and overall customer satisfaction
- 8–12 years of relevant experience within admissions, enrolment, customer experience, relationship management, or premium client-facing environments
- Experience from international schools, academic admissions, university enrolment, or education environments highly preferred
- Experience from adjacent sectors such as private wealth, luxury hospitality, country clubs, premium memberships, or other high-touch relationship-driven industries
- Proven experience managing KPI-driven environments with ownership of conversion, client engagement, retention, or growth metrics
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage senior executives, international families, and external partners
- Commercially minded with a strong service orientation and attention to detail
- Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams
- Strong communication and presentation skills with executive presence
- Experience working with international or expat clientele highly advantageous
