Business Analyst (Cards & Personal Loans)
Business Analyst is responsible for bridging Cards & Personal Loans Business with Technology, ensuring that product requirements, operational needs, regulatory mandates, and customer experience improvements are translated into clear functional and technical specifications.
The role supports the end-to-end delivery of initiatives across Cards, Personal Loans, Acquisition, Fulfilment, Credit Evaluation, GL & Settlement, Billing, Collections, Rewards, and Mobile Banking.
This position plays a critical part in driving digitalisation, operational efficiency, and compliance to MAS and Group requirements, ensuring that Maybank delivers safe, scalable, customer-centric lending and card services.
Responsibilities- Business Requirements & Analysis
- Gather and analyse business needs for Cards & Personal Loans (loans, instalments, balance transfers, onboarding, acquisition)
- Project Delivery & Change Management
- Support end-to-end project delivery for: New card/loan products, Digital onboarding & fulfilment, Instalment plans & restructuring features, Fraud & dispute workflow enhancements, Settlement/GL improvements, RPA & automation initiatives
- Coordinate across business users, Tech, RCP, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Ops, and vendors.
- Track milestones, issues, risks, and escalations.
- Testing & Implementation
- Develop test strategy, UAT scenarios, and scripts.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Business, Finance, IT, Engineering, or equivalent.
- 3 - 5 years experience in Cards, Personal Loans, Payments, or Banking Technology.
- Strong understanding of Credit cards lifecycle, Personal loans & instalment plans, MAS regulatory requirements, Fraud, disputes, authorisation, Clearing, settlement, GL flows
- Experience in preparing BRDs, UAT plans, and business process documentation.
