Programme executive, community engagement

Guided by compassion and wisdom, Community Engagement Department empowers individuals and groups through building relationship and capacity to impact lives and strengthen the well-being of our community. We aim to be the nexus to connect minds, engage hearts and touch lives so that together as a community, we fulfil the needs and aspiration of people.

• Plan, coordinate and develop community engagement programmes and activities
• Build and maintain good relationships with community partners and stakeholders
• Monitor and evaluate programme performance and impact
• Manage volunteer engagement and community participation efforts
• Support and coordinate programme admin and logistics duties
• Assist in developing outreach materials
• Involve in Monastery events and activities

• Qualification: Diploma or above in Community Engagement & Development/ Social Services / Event Management / Business Management or related discipline
• Year(s) of Experience: Min. 1 year of working experience in community outreach, programme planning or any social service discipline
• Language(s): Bilingual in English and Mandarin to communicate with both English and Mandarin-speaking stakeholders
• Required Knowledge/Skill(s): Planning and coordination skills, Communication & interpersonal skills, Computer-literate, Ability to multi-task and work within time frame with minimal supervision
• Passionate and enthusiastic about serving the community
• Able to work on weekend(s), public holiday(s) or irregular working hour(s)
• Possess basic knowledge of Buddhism will be of an advantage
