Medical Laboratory Technologist / Scientist (Immunology & Serology)

The Immunology & Serology section is part of the Microbiology department which provides services for Autoimmune serology, Allergen-Specific IgE serology, Infectious Diseases serology (excludes viral serology) and Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD) serology.
You will perform laboratory tests, assist in preparing various types of media as well as receive and process specimens, including carrying out specialised investigations of patient samples. In addition, you will perform on-going quality control checks to ensure test results are precise and accurate.
Requirements- Degree in Biomedical Science, Life Sciences or its equivalent
- Minimum 2 years’ of relevant experience
- Able to work in a fast paced environment, both independently and in a team
- Able to work in a responsible, meticulous and efficient manner
- Possess good communication skills
