Fixed Income Credit Analyst - Bukit Merah - ref. j30597915

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth credit analysis on potential bonds issuers.
• Develop and maintain internal credit rating models and provide credit opinions and investment recommendations.
• Provide frequent and timely research insights on macro-economy, industry developments and portfolio holdings.
• Assist in portfolio construction and optimization by providing insights on credit spreads, duration, and term structure.
• Assisting to produce detailed analysis reports for each fixed income covered and regularly update.
• Closely monitoring the fundamental of fixed income portfolio including news screening, notice and report screening.
• Any relevant ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. CFA charter holder or candidates who have passed Level II/III are preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in fixed income or credit research, preferably with asset management firms, insurance companies, banks, or rating agencies;
• Strong knowledge of the credit bond market, valuation methodologies, and credit analysis frameworks;
• Proven track record in the fixed income analysis.
• Solid quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with strong logical thinking and written communication abilities;
• Strong team work ability.
• Proficient in Bloomberg and Excel.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written) in Mandarin and English to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Support finance and accounts when needed.
