Project Engineer (Mechanical/Electrical)

About the role

This is a full-time position based in the Central Region.

• Manage the execution of engineering projects from inception to completion, overseeing all technical and commercial aspects
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and smooth project coordination
• Conduct site inspections, monitor project progress, and address any issues or challenges that arise
• Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and other project documentation
• Ensure projects comply with relevant safety, quality, and environmental regulations
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement cost-saving measures
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior members of the engineering team

• A NITEC/Diploma/Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar project engineering role, with strong experience in Singapore Built Environment Requirements
• Strong technical expertise in mechanical and/or electrical engineering principles, with the ability to interpret and apply them in a project environment
• Proficient in project management tools and methodologies, with excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, contractors, and team members
• Familiarity with relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and quality control procedures
• Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
