Senior Compliance Analyst I Contract

Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Compliance Analyst (12 Months Contract) with strong expertise in SOW (Source of Wealth) benchmarking, SOW write-ups, and risk assessment documentation. The specialist must be capable of independently managing cases, performing holistic KYC reviews, and identifying inconsistencies or red flags across customer profiles.

This role requires an individual with strong analytical capability, the ability to work under pressure, and familiarity with MAS and HKMA regulatory expectations. The resource will be required to work 100% onsite and be fully onboarded onto the client’s systems.

• Conduct comprehensive SOW reviews, including SOW benchmarking, SOW write-ups, and validating document reasonableness.
• Perform holistic KYC profile reviews to ensure consistency, accuracy, and completeness across customer data.
• Identify discrepancies, anomalies, and potential red flags requiring escalation.
• Deliver timely case assessments and maintain strong turnaround time standards.
• Apply SME-level understanding of MAS and HKMA AML/CFT requirements.
• Support project governance through accurate case tracking, status updates, and MI reporting.
• Work closely with the Engagement Manager for monitoring case progress and data analysis insights.
• Follow established bank AML/KYC standards and ensure quality delivery.

• Minimum 3 years of SOW experience (benchmarking, write-ups, validation).
• Prior experience in banking AML/KYC projects.
• Experience with Retail customer KYC and EDD.
• Exposure to Private Banking / HNWI segments (good to have but not mandatory).
• Proven ability to perform holistic KYC reviews.

• Strong structured and critical thinking skills.
• High level of efficiency and accuracy in case handling.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage strict timelines.
• Strong analytical judgment and documentation quality.
• Comfortable working onsite full-time and adapting quickly to new systems.
