Part-time gardener

We are looking for an experienced horticulturist or retired landscape professional to serve as a part-time garden consultant for a large private garden in Singapore.

About the Role:

Advisory role — you guide, local workers execute
Flexible hours, visit garden as needed (1–2x per week)
Long-term engagement preferred

Responsibilities:

Advise on lawn establishment and maintenance (cow grass / golf-quality turf)
Recommend suitable plants and trees for tropical climate
Guide workers on planting, fertilising, pest control
Plan overall garden layout and development
Source plants and materials when needed

Ideal Candidate:

Retired NParks officer, landscape superintendent, or horticulturist
Minimum 10 years' experience in Singapore landscaping
Passionate about gardens, self-motivated
Good communication in English or Mandarin

Remuneration:

Open — commensurate with experience and commitment
Flexible arrangement, happy to discuss
