Mechanical Engineer / Service Engineer (PdM) - Geylang

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer / Service Engineer (PdM) to join our dynamic team at VIBTECH GENESIS PTE LTD. You will be a key member of the execution team, responsible in providing expert mechanical engineering services and predictive maintenance solutions to our valued clients.

1. Conduct comprehensive condition monitoring and diagnostic assessments of mechanical equipment and systems
2. Develop and implementing tailored predictive maintenance strategies to optimize asset performance and lifespan
3. Analyze equipment data, identify issues, and recommend appropriate corrective actions
4. Provide technical support and training to clients on the effective use of predictive maintenance technologies
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated engineering solutions
6. Document all activities and maintain detailed records of equipment condition and maintenance history, generating technical reports according to ISO standards
7. Provide hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting support for both static and rotating equipment, including participation in Root Cause Analysis to resolve complex mechanical problems
8. Ensure all works, whether carried out by internal teams or contractors, comply with HSE standards and Permit-to-Work requirements

1. A Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years of experience, or a Diploma with extensive experience, with a focus on predictive maintenance
2. Strong understanding of mechanical systems, vibration analysis, thermography, and other condition monitoring techniques
3. Solid skills in vibration analysis, balancing, shaft alignment, ultrasound leak detection, and other condition monitoring techniques
4. Proficient in interpreting equipment data and diagnosing mechanical issues
5. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively to deliver high-quality engineering services
7. Certified Vibration Analysis CAT II is preferred
8. A valid Class 3 driving license is required
