Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook a variety of Indian cuisines in accordance with menus
Support the Senior Cook in the overall kitchen operation.
Assist to plan menus, determine size of food portions.
Prepare variety of Indian Recipes including snacks and desserts
Able to support bulk cooking for catering and party orders
Ensure proper handling and storage of all food items
Assist in staff training for cooking and food handling.
Ensure cleanliness of the kitchen at all times
Follow kitchen safety and food hygiene standards and policies

Requirements

Expertise experience in Indian Cuisines cooking.
Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods will be an advantage.
Ability to work under pressure.
Hardworking, multitasking and ability to work in a team.
Prefer to work on weekends and public holidays
