Electrical Supervisor Job Scope

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee and coordinate electrical works at construction sites. The successful candidate will supervise electricians and subcontractors, ensure works are completed safely, on time, and in accordance with project specifications, drawings, and relevant codes.

• Supervise daily electrical installation works on construction sites.
• Coordinate and assign tasks to electricians, foremen, and subcontractors.
• Ensure all electrical works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Monitor site progress and report work status, delays, and issues to the project manager or construction manager.
• Inspect works to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with project requirements.
• Enforce site safety rules, including permits, risk assessments, and toolbox briefings where required.
• Coordinate with other site teams, engineers, and contractors to support smooth project execution.
• Check materials, tools, and equipment to ensure proper use and availability on site.
• Assist with testing, inspection, pre-commissioning, and handover of electrical systems.
• Prepare daily progress updates, reports, and site documentation.

• Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installation works, site safety, and construction drawings.
• Ability to lead a team and coordinate with multiple parties on site.
• Good problem-solving, communication, and reporting skills.
• Relevant electrical certification, diploma, or trade qualification is preferred.
