Warehouse Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Warehouse Assistant to support daily warehouse operations in an electronics manufacturing environment. The role involves handling goods, preparing orders, and maintaining accurate inventory handling.

Key Responsibilities

Perform warehouse operations including picking, packing, loading and unloading goods

Wrap pallets and prepare items for shipment

Pick and prepare items according to packing or picking lists

Ensure correct quantity and accuracy when handling orders

Maintain proper storage and organisation of warehouse goods

Follow workplace safety procedures and warehouse guidelines

Support general warehouse duties assigned by supervisors

Requirements

Experience in warehouse operations is preferred

Experience operating VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) forklifts will be advantageous

Forklift licence is preferred; training may be provided if required

Basic numeracy skills to ensure accuracy in order picking and packing

Comfortable working in warehouse environments and at heights when required

Responsible, attentive to detail, and able to work independently or as part of a team
