About the role
COTC HOLDING PRIVATE LIMITED' is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join our growing team. As Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for providing strategic, high-quality, and commercially-focused legal services to our corporate and commercial operations.This is a full-time role based in the Central Region.
What you'll be doing- Manage legal risks for the Singapore company and its branches/subsidiaries.
- Provide legal advice to functional and business departments.
- Select and manage external legal counsels and service providers, ensuring reasonable budget control.
- Provide legal support for overseas projects.
- Assist in handling dispute resolution matters, including mediation, litigation, and arbitration.
- Establish and maintain a legal process management system for overseas operations.
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Law.
- Familiar with Company Law, Contract Law, investment transactions, and dispute resolution-related regulations.
- Experience as a legal counsel in a multinational company is preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
- Ability to independently analyse legal issues and provide practical solutions.
- Proficiency in both Chinese and English.
