Assistant Corporate Banking Relationship Manager - StriveX

A leading Asian wholesale bank, is seeking an Assistant Relationship Manager to join its Corporate Banking team in Singapore.

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Banking, this role will work closely with senior Relationship Managers to manage a portfolio of corporate clients and ensure the highest standards of risk management and regulatory compliance.

1. Conduct in-depth credit analysis, prepare financial spreadsheets, write credit papers, and perform regular credit reviews to support lending decisions.
2. Assist in exploring new business opportunities, onboarding new clients, attending business calls, and conducting on-site visits to monitor existing relationships.
3. Prepare loan documentation, track client transactions, and ensure all processes adhere to internal policies and regulatory requirements (including KYC and ongoing monitoring).
4. Actively liaise with other departments and Head Office to facilitate smooth processing of transactions and credit applications.
5. Prepare comprehensive periodic reports for internal and external stakeholders.
6. Assist Relationship Managers with scheduling, marketing materials, and general portfolio administration.

1. University degree
2. Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience as an Assistant Relationship Manager or Credit Analyst within the Corporate or Commercial Banking industry.
3. Strong multitasking abilities and capacity to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
4. Excellent analytical and financial modelling skills.
5. Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
