Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and experienced Operations Manager to assume full responsibility for the seamless and efficient operation of all five of our Pilates studio branches in Singapore. This critical leadership role will be instrumental in ensuring consistent service delivery, fostering a high-performing team, optimizing resource allocation, and driving client acquisition and retention through strategic operational management and targeted social media engagement.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic and tactical thinker with exceptional leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, coupled with a genuine passion for the health and wellness industry and a strong understanding of the Singaporean market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Operations Planning and Execution: Develop, implement, and continuously refine operational strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure efficiency, consistency, and excellence across all five studio locations, aligning with the overall business objectives.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for all operational aspects, including client attendance, retention rates, staff productivity, facility maintenance, and social media engagement. Analyze data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and implement proactive solutions.
  • Develop and manage the annual operational budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and maximizing resource utilization across all branches.
  • Oversee the procurement and maintenance of all studio equipment, supplies, and retail inventory, ensuring quality and cost-efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant local regulations, licensing requirements, and health and safety standards across all locations in Singapore.
  • Exceptional Team Leadership and Development:Lead, mentor, and inspire Studio Managers and all other studio-level staff (instructors, front desk personnel) across all locations, fostering a positive, collaborative, and high-performing work culture.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive onboarding and training programs for all new staff members, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and identify opportunities for professional1 development and growth within the team.
  • Develop and manage staff schedules that optimize coverage, minimize overtime, and align with client demand across all studios.
  • Mediate and resolve staff-related conflicts and issues in a fair and timely manner, ensuring a harmonious work environment.
  • Optimized Scheduling and Resource Management:Develop and implement data-driven class scheduling strategies that maximize studio utilization, cater to diverse client needs and preferences, and optimize instructor availability across all branches.
  • Utilize and manage the studio scheduling software (specify software if applicable) to ensure accurate bookings, efficient waitlist management, and clear communication of schedules to clients and staff.
  • Analyze class attendance patterns and client feedback to make informed decisions regarding schedule adjustments and new class offerings.
  • Manage the allocation of studio space and equipment to ensure efficient use and a positive client experience.
  • Strategic Social Media Marketing and Brand Building (Singapore Market Focus):Develop and execute a comprehensive social media marketing strategy tailored to the Singaporean market, encompassing platforms relevant to the local audience (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, potentially local platforms).
  • Create engaging, high-quality content (photos, videos, stories, reels, blog posts) that showcases the unique value proposition , highlights instructor expertise, client testimonials, and promotes studio culture.
  • Manage and maintain all social media accounts, ensuring consistent branding and timely engagement with followers, including responding to inquiries and managing comments.
  • Develop and execute targeted social media advertising campaigns to reach potential clients within specific geographic areas of Singapore.
  • Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics (reach, engagement, website traffic, lead generation) to optimize campaigns and measure ROI, providing insights into the Singaporean audience.
Stay abreast of the latest social media trends, algorithm updates, and competitor activities within the Singaporean fitness landscape.
  • Collaborate with instructors and clients to generate authentic user-generated content.
  • Client Experience and Retention:Champion a client-centric culture across all studios, ensuring exceptional customer service at every touchpoint.
  • Monitor client feedback through surveys, reviews, and direct communication, and implement strategies to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Develop and implement client retention programs and initiatives to foster a strong sense of community and encourage repeat business.
  • Address and resolve client complaints and issues promptly and professionally, ensuring positive outcomes.
  • Financial Oversight and Reporting:Monitor and analyze studio revenue, expenses, and profitability across all locations.
  • Implement strategies to drive revenue growth through effective pricing, promotions, and membership sales.
Prepare regular reports on operational performance, including KPIs, financial summaries, and social media analytics, for the studio owners/management.
  • Facility Management and Maintenance:Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of all studio facilities, ensuring a clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing environment for clients and staff.
  • Coordinate with vendors for cleaning, repairs, and other facility-related services.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and implement emergency procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in multi-site operations management, ideally within the fitness, wellness, or service industry in Singapore.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing teams in a customer-facing environment.
  • Strong understanding of scheduling optimization principles and proficiency in using studio management software (specify if required).
  • In-depth knowledge of social media marketing strategies and platforms, with a demonstrable track record of successful campaign implementation and audience engagement, specifically within the Singaporean market.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with staff, clients, and vendors in a multicultural environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to2 interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft3 Office Suite or Google Workspace.
  • A genuine passion for Pilates and a strong understanding of the health and wellness landscape in Singapore is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with local marketing trends and social media preferences in Singapore is a significant advantage.
