Roles & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring that both Client Employers Information Requirements (EIR) and Project BIM Execution Plan (BEP) are implemented on site.
- Ensure that the capabilities of the Contractors' and sub-contractors' BIM teams align with the requirements outlined in the EIR documents and the BEP.
- Ensuring that all related infrastructure and facilities are coordinated in BIM Model before commencement of actual works on site.
- Responsible for ensuring that all shop drawings and construction drawings are coordinated and updated in the BIM models prior to the commencement of actual work on site.
- Work with the project team to review BIM models and relevant deliverables submitted by contractors.
- Work with various stakeholders and project team to identify and resolve technical issues submitted by contractors.
- Report and present progress and status with regard to BIM implementation and BIM-related submission by the contractor;
- Responsible for facilitating and chairing BIM workshops and meetings.
- Report progress and status of model updates to CE BIM team at the End of each month.
- Responsible for ensuring that all related infrastructure and facilities are provided with asset data requirements that support the FM & O&M digital handover.
- Responsible for ensuring that all related infrastructure and facilities are provided with an accurate as-built models.
- Any other duties deemed necessary by OIC.
Requirements:
- Minimum Degree in Engineering / Architecture or equivalent.
- Completed a certification course in BIM Management.
- At least ten (10) years of relevant work experience with highly proficient with BIM Software and five (5) years of relevant work experience in site supervisionFamiliar with various aspects of engineering e.g. Civil, Structural, Architecture, Mechanical, Electrical.
- Successfully instituted a BIM Company Deployment Plan as well as implemented Project BIM Execution Plan for at least 2 projects.
- Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with stakeholders across all levels and good presentation skills.
