Chemical Engineer - Choa Chu Kang

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and ensure the availability and proper operation of the water treatment plant, along with all associated auxiliaries and ancillary equipment.
• Oversee the efficient production and quality of demineralized water to meet the requirements of the power plant.
• Monitor and control steam drum water and feedwater quality to ensure they meet required standards and specifications, in order to ensure boiler safety and prevent corrosion or scaling of boiler tubes—including regular inspections to verify the effectiveness of chemical injection systems.
• Manage and control all chemicals in compliance with WSH regulations, company policies, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
• Maintain inventory control of chemicals through efficient usage and forecasting, ensuring sufficient supply for power plant operations in the most cost-effective manner.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience in a relevant field.
• Experience in the power plant industry is an advantage.
• Willing to work in Tuas South.
