NUS Centre for Population Health (CPH) oversees the research, administration and operation of the Health District @ Queenstown project, alongside teams in NUHS and HDB.
Health District @ Queenstown is a first-of-its-kind multi-stakeholder pilot co-led by NUS, NUHS and HDB. Our goal is to create a complete environment to promote and enable successful ageing through the life course, helping Singapore residents stay healthy, strong, resilient and productive and enabling Singapore to reap the longevity dividend of the extra decades of life.Successful interventions in the Health District @ Queenstown will enable scalable and sustainable interventions to the rest of Singapore to address the social, economic, environmental and structural determinants of health.
We are seeking (Senior) Executive, responsible for driving the day-to-day operations of the Health District @ Queenstown’s HQ team and support the Executive Director and Core team to achieve its overarching goals. This role in the Ops teams will work closely with other teams in the HQ (e.g. Admin and PM) and liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the HD@QT HQ.
Duties and Responsibilities- Central oversight & reporting:
- Maintain oversight of all activities in the Health District @ Queenstown including attending key meetings as directed
- Maintain team folders and documentation for all responsible work, including filing of materials, updating contact lists, and developing SOPs as needed
- Work closely with the Executive Director for regular and ad-hoc stakeholder reporting (e.g., annual Status Report, Git Reports for donors), including preparing/ drafting materials, syndication with team members and stakeholders, and seeking clearance as needed
- Organize the annual Health District Retreat with support from the PM (to co-develop agenda & content) and Admin teams (for logistics)
- International collaborations:
- Support the Executive Director in facilitating international collaborations, including coordinating engagements with various stakeholders, preparing meeting agenda and materials, liaising with team members
- Work closely with the Executive Director to organize inbound visits or outbound trips to further international collaborations, with support from Admin (for travel booking)
- Serve as the Health District’s liaison with stakeholders as needed
- Organize symposiums, conferences, and/or events as required to further international collaborations, with support from Admin (for event logistics)
- Development & Fundraising:
- Support the Executive Director in donor engagements, including developing funding proposals, drafting invitations to key events, preparing materials for donors
- Coordinate with NUS and NUHS Development Offices on Health District’s development activities and engagements with donors as needed
- Serve as the Health District’s liaison with donors as needed
- Other responsibilities & duties as assigned by Reporting Manager / HOD
- Entry-level or early-career, 0-3 years of experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

- Comfortable working with a lean, agile team in a complex and fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated interest or experience in any of the following is a plus: public health, international affairs/ relations, project/ event management, business development
