Operations Technician (WWTP)

In this role, you will provide support to the Engineer/Manager and work together with the Operations and Maintenance team to achieve operational excellence in Wastewater Treatment Facilities and related infrastructures.

Job Description:

• Routine monitoring of the plant to do visual inspection of equipment and structure;
• Routine check of parameters and registering in log sheet; log sheet preparation;
• Operating the plant various process with HMI/SCADA system;
• Control and monitor the water treatment quantity and quality as well as the quality along the plant upstream process.
• Ensure all permits to work (PTW) are carried out in accordance with company's policy.
• Taking corrective actions during the process parameters deviation.
• Document/Digitalize operation data on a daily basis for engineers to do decision /making/analysis. Assist in plant operation normalisation and ad-hoc on-site checking of equipment process;
• Support plant maintenance activities;
• Chemical receiving, chemical preparation, plant housekeeping, etc.
• Support any other site activities as delegated by the Engineer or Manager.

Job Requirements:

• At least NITEC in Engineering discipline
• Entry Level candidate are encouraged to apply
• Class 3 driving licence/Forklift driving licence an added advantage
• Able to work 44 hours week, may require to work on regular hours or 12 hours rotating shift
• Good chemistry will be advantageous.
• Self-motivated and able to handle wide spectrum of responsibilities
