Veterinary Patient Care Assistant
About the role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Veterinary Patient Care Assistant to join our team at the Advanced VetCare Veterinary Centre in the Bedok East Region and in Central Singapore. This full-time role will involve supporting our veterinary professionals in providing exceptional care and services to our patients and their owners.
What you'll be doing- Assisting veterinarians and veterinary nurses with examinations, treatments and procedures
- Handling and restraining animals during consultations and procedures in a calm and gentle manner
- Maintaining a clean and organised clinical environment, including restocking supplies
- Providing exceptional customer service to clients, including greeting patients and their owners, scheduling appointments and addressing any queries or concerns
- Performing administrative tasks such as data entry and filing
- Ensuring the highest standards of animal welfare and biosecurity at all times
- Previous experience working in a veterinary or animal care setting, either in a clinical or customer service role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with both clients and the veterinary team
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions and protocols with precision
- Adaptability and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- A genuine passion for animal welfare and a commitment to providing high-quality care
- A team-oriented approach and the willingness to learn and grow in the role
