Strategic Partnership Manager
About the Role
We are looking for a driven Strategic Partnership Manager to lead brand acquisition for LocStoc. This is a full-time role based in Jalan Pemimpin, with a core focus on bringing new brands onto the LocStoc platform and building a high-performing network of agents to accelerate growth.
You will be responsible for identifying and securing brand principals that fit our platform’s value proposition, as well as onboarding, training, and managing agents or partners who can expand our reach in the market. This role is both hands-on and leadership-oriented — you will be out in the market winning deals yourself, while also enabling others to do the same.
What You’ll Be Doing- Brand Acquisition – Identify, approach, and secure brand principals to join the LocStoc platform, focusing on those with strong product-market fit in our target categories.
- Agent Network Development – Recruit, onboard, and manage agents or channel partners tasked with securing brands for LocStoc. Provide them with the tools, training, and incentives to succeed.
- Negotiation & Onboarding – Lead commercial discussions with brands and agents, ensuring agreements are clear, favourable, and aligned with LocStoc’s objectives.
- Performance Management – Track acquisition results from both direct efforts and agent activity, ensuring targets are met and performance gaps are addressed quickly.
- Market Intelligence – Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and category developments to refine acquisition strategies.
- Relationship Building – Maintain strong, long-term relationships with brands and agents, ensuring they are supported and engaged beyond the initial deal.
- Cross-Team Coordination – Work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and integration of new brands into the LocStoc ecosystem.
- Proven success in brand acquisition, sales, or business development, ideally in retail, FMCG, or platform-based businesses.
- Experience managing agents, distributors, or channel partners.
- Strong negotiation, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
- Commercial acumen with the ability to spot high-potential opportunities.
- Organised, proactive, and results-oriented.
- Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
