Assistant Operations Manager/Operations Manager - Geylang
We are seeking a motivated Senior Operations Executive to join a reputable shipowning company, managing a fleet of Supramax, Panamax, and Capesize vessels. You’ll play a key role in supporting the General Manager of Operations/Marine to ensure smooth and efficient vessel operations while serving as the main point of contact for 6–7 owned vessels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations and post-fixture activities of assigned vessels
- Provide guidance to vessel operators to ensure operational efficiency
- Monitor vessel movements, performance, and charter party compliance
- Prepare hire statements and liaise with technical teams on hire-related matters
- Manage CP updates, BLs/LOIs, and ensure proper recordkeeping
- Support claims, invoicing, and communication with charterers and managers
- Handle EU-ETS/FuelEU coordination and reporting
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum 4 years in dry bulk operations, ideally with a shipowner or operator
- Familiar with IMOS and charter party terms
- Detail-oriented with a good understanding of operational documentation
- Basic knowledge of marine insurance and claims is advantageous
