Creative Design Manager - Geylang

We're looking for a hands-on, strategically minded Creative Design Manager to lead the visual expression of our brand and elevate the creative impact of our client campaigns. Reporting to the Marketing Director, you’ll lead design efforts within the Marketing department and bring to life a wide range of brand and marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with our overarching strategy.
You’ll oversee the design function across the business from sales materials and campaign mockups to internal comms, digital content, and brand showcases, ensuring every visual output is polished, purposeful, and on-brand.
This role blends creative vision, team leadership, and technical execution. You’ll mentor a small in-house team and freelancers, manage the design pipeline, and collaborate closely with stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Campaign Management, Operations, and Business Development to deliver work that supports strategic business goals.
Key Accountabilities:
Creative Direction & Execution- Lead the development of compelling visual content across print, digital, presentation, video, and 3D formats
- Guide and produce high-impact visual storytelling for campaigns, brand showcases, and sales enablement
- Lead the development of visually compelling photo and video showcases of client campaigns, working with freelance creators as needed
- Ideate and design new media assets in our environments, including Changi Airport and premium malls
- Oversee photography and short-form video showcases for client campaigns, working with freelancers where needed
- Support leadership with visuals that communicate strategic ideas effectively
- Elevate all creative and visual output, ensuring alignment with our brand identity, core values, creative standards, and business objectives
- Own the full design lifecycle from intake and prioritisation to execution and delivery
- Manage timelines, resources, the design traffic across internal designers, freelancers and production partners
- With cross-functional stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Ops, Campaign Management) to scope, brief, and deliver projects on time and to spec
- Maintain creative quality control, brand alignment, and consistency across all assets
- Lead, inspire, and mentor a small team of designers and freelance creatives, providing clear direction, feedback, and career development support
- Guide the team in interpreting briefs and developing creative solutions across multiple content types
- Allocate work effectively and ensure creative solutions are strategic, innovative, and on-brand
- Foster a collaborative, high-performing, and growth-oriented creative team culture
- Maintain and evolve design systems, templates, and internal creative guidelines
- Champion brand consistency across all internal and external touchpoint
- Act as the brand guardian for visual identity, including when working with external partner and client assets
- Stay current on industry trends, new tools, design thinking, and multimedia techniques
- Bring forward-thinking ideas to evolve our creative output and stay visually competitive in the market
Requirements:
Core Experience- Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field
- 6–8 years of experience in graphic/multimedia design, with at least 2 years in a managerial/project management role
- Strong versatile portfolio showcasing branding, storytelling, layout, and campaign execution
- Understanding of Out-of-Home (OOH) media and advertising environments
- Strong artistic flair and visual judgement, with a keen eye for detail and brand-aligned visual storytelling
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro
- Proficiency in 3D design tools such as Blender, Cinema 4D, or 3DS Max – including modeling, texturing, basic rigging, and camera animation
- Familiarity with print production terminology and process
- Experience with video editing, motion graphics, and visual effects for short-form digital content
- Familiarity with photography principles and photo editing
- Solid understanding of product design principles, including layout, scale, and format adaptation across physical and digital environments
- Strong project and time management skills; ability to juggle multiple projects without compromising quality
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the confidence to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders
- Strong eye for layout, typography, and brand consistency
- Ability to think creatively and analytically, balancing aesthetic and strategic priorities
- Ability to manage and mentor designers while still contributing hands-on
- Calm, reliable, and dependable under pressure
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, or web design principles
- Proficiency in product design for LED/LCD screens
- Interest or experience in illustration, or freehand drawing
