Senior Accountant cum HR Executive

About the Role

This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives working independently in an SME environment.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting:

• Handle full set of accounts independently.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Process invoices, payments, receipts, and staff claims.
• Prepare GST submissions and assist with audit and year-end closing.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and the corporate secretary.
• Maintain proper accounting records and documentation.

Human Resources:

• Process monthly payroll and CPF submissions.
• Handle leave records, attendance, IR8A, and employee claims.
• Support recruitment, interview coordination, and onboarding processes.
• Prepare employment contracts, HR letters, and maintain accurate employee records.
• Handle work pass matters, insurance, and general HR administration.
• Ensure full compliance with Singapore employment regulations and MOM requirements.

• Diploma or Degree in Accountancy or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the construction industry.
• Experience in handling full set accounting is highly preferred.
• Familiar with Singapore payroll, CPF, IR8A, and MOM regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Responsible, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working in construction, engineering, or an SME environment is a strong advantage.
