Manager, Contracts and Procurement - Toa Payoh
Our client is a leading industrial REIT listed on SGX with a portfolio of more than 20 properties in Singapore and a market capitalization of more than S$1 billion. They are seeking a dynamic individual to join the Facility Management team as the Manager, Procurement and Contract.
Job Description
Reporting to Head, Development and Facility Management. You will work independently within the contracts and procurement department. Your role will include supporting the Development and Facilities Management department in procuring the services to ensure that the properties under the portfolio is maintained at a standard expected from an industrial REIT.
Job Responsibilities:
- Pre-qualification of all contractors
- Maintenance of Approved Vendor List
- Procurement of brown energy for portfolio and all R&M/ lift modernization/ AEI works requiring tender, such as
- Preparation of tender document
- Lead in site showround
- Clarification and analysis of submission
- Recommendation to award
- Verification and recommend variation order request
- Analyse and recommend extension of time
- Initiate and compile performance assessments twice a year
- Oversee quotation process conducted by the Facility Management Team
- Other procurement and contract management-related tasks which may be assigned.
Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying/Building/Estate Management or equivalent
- 6-8 years of relevant working experience in procurement/contracts management/supply chain functions
- Familiar with facility management hard and soft services, and Assets Enhancement Initiatives (AEI).
- Possess analytical skills and can communicate clearly in both written and verbal.
- Patient, meticulous, result oriented and have a strong sense of integrity
- Able to multi-task and possess a strong sense of urgency to complete tasks efficiently
- Proficient in software including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with REDAS Conditions of Contract and process technology strategy is a plus
- Good knowledge of Singapore Standards, Code of Practice in building services and other relevant statutory requirements regarding tenancy work
- A self driven team player with proven leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
- Good organizational and documentation skills
