Assistant Restaurant Manager/ Restaurant Supervisor (The Alkaff Mansion)

We are looking for a customer-oriented and service-driven Assistant Restaurant Manager / Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at The Alkaff Mansion.

In this role, you will be part of the outlet’s leadership team, supporting daily restaurant operations, leading the service team, and ensuring every guest enjoys a smooth and memorable dining experience. This position is suitable for candidates with supervisory or assistant managerial experience in F&B, hospitality, events, or bar/restaurant operations.

• Assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, bar, and events to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Uphold service procedures, operating standards, and grooming standards set by the outlet and the Food & Beverage Department.
• Conduct daily roll-call and pre-opening checks to ensure the team is ready for service.
• Supervise and support service team members during operations, ensuring high standards of guest service, cleanliness, order taking, and table service.
• Maintain strong product knowledge of the menu, ingredients, preparation methods, promotions, wine, beverages, and specials.
• Engage with guests, actively seek feedback, and handle service issues or complaints professionally with appropriate service recovery.
• Support event planning and execution, working closely with the kitchen team to ensure accurate and timely food orders during event service.
• Assist with reservations, staff rostering, cashiering, daily sales reports, inventory checks, and other operational reports.
• Monitor outlet cleanliness, equipment condition, and maintenance requirements.
• Train, guide, and motivate team members to achieve service excellence and operational goals.
• Recommend improvements to enhance guest experience, service efficiency, and sales performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, hygiene standards, and operational procedures.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

• Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in F&B, hospitality, restaurant, bar, or event operations.
• Candidates with stronger leadership experience may be considered for the Assistant Restaurant Manager position.
• Diploma in Food & Beverage, Hospitality, or a related discipline will be an advantage.
• Experience in a bar, casual dining restaurant, or events environment will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of wine, alcoholic beverages, or beverage service will be an added advantage.
• Passionate about customer service and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to lead, motivate, and work well with a dynamic service team.
• Positive attitude, hands-on approach, and willingness to learn.
• Able to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced F&B environment.

• Proficient in basic administrative work and MS Office applications.
• Able to commit to shift work, weekends, and public holidays.
