Regulatory Compliance Officer (6 months contract) - Bukit Merah

We are hiring for a reputable Chinese Bank,

Job Summary:

The Regulatory Compliance Officer is responsible for supporting compliance monitoring, ad-hoc compliance advisory and training. The role ensures that the bank operates in alignment with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies while performing activities in the compliance monitoring programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct compliance testing in the form of gap analysis to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
• Prepare detailed reports on monitoring outcomes and recommend corrective actions.
• Update the country addendum and regulatory oversight tool as and when required
• Develop training materials to promote compliance awareness across the organization.
• Provide ad-hoc advisory services on compliance-related matters

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Track records in banks
• At least 2-4 years of experience in regulatory compliance with exposure to policies reviews, gap analysis, compliance advisory, and training will be advantageous. Preferably in the banking or financial services industry. External audit firms or internal audit background are welcome to apply.
• Approachable, good team player, hands-on, possess good attitude, good communication skill, good analytical skill and meticulous.
