This is a Temporary contract position for Maternity Coverage.
We are looking for a motivated professional to support the optimisation of Operating Theatre (OT) and Endoscopy (Endo) operations through data analysis, resource coordination and process improvement. This role plays a key part in improving OT utilisation, resolving daily operational challenges and driving quality initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Optimise Operating Theatre (OT) utilisation through effective planning and management of listing requests
- Proactively resolve daily OT resource conflicts to ensure smooth theatre operations
- Oversee and coordinate the efficient utilisation of resources
- Analyse OT utilisation, first-case delays and overrun rates to provide data-driven recommendations for OT allocation and optimisation
- Serve as the core analyst for OT and Endo data, leading process improvements, workflow streamlining and IT-related implementations
- Support quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient flow, operational efficiency and service delivery
- Any ad-hoc duties as assigned by the head of department
Job Requirements:
- Degree in general discipline
- Preferably with 1 – 2 years of relevant working experience in healthcare industry
- Strong interpersonal skills with initiative, pleasant disposition and ability to work independently
- Good analytical, organisational and communication skills (verbal and written), good time management skills and the ability to multi-task
