As Account Coordinator, you are the face of Vallen to our customers. Your tact, sensitivity and professionalism strongly influence customer satisfaction and Vallen’s prosperity. You partner with your team to generate sales, provide excellent customer service and smooth day-to-day operational support to your customer accounts.
Main Job Scope- Demonstrate customer service excellence by receiving, fulfilling and following up on account orders and enquiries within a stipulated timeframe, and ensuring timely dispatch and delivery of product orders.
- Keep master list and pricing related documents updated.
- Effectively manage Webshop orders and price changes for Webshop items.
- Source the right suppliers to meet all specification requirements for spot buys.
- Manage forwarders and courier providers to ensure cost effectiveness.
- Ensure customer order data accuracy in the ERP.
- Provide accurate periodic and adhoc reports.
- Process billing timely to ensure smooth accounts receivable. You also process credit notes and debit notes when required.
- Manage filing for the department.
- Ensure world class customer service is achieved.
- Ensure compliance with Vallen’s sales policies and procedures.
- To perform other duties as assigned from time to time
- Diploma in related discipline
- Excellent customer service skills

- Ability to think strategically and communicate effectively with all levels of management
- Ability to manage ambiguity and apply problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and work effectively under deadlines
