Automation Engineer (Software)

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Industrial Automation Engineer (Designer) to lead the automation of our in-house manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions that improve efficiency, reduce manual labour, and enhance overall production quality.
This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate automation solution and drive continuous improvement.
Role Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, program, and implement automation solutions for manufacturing processes.
- Integrate robotics, motion control systems, and machine vision technologies into production floor.
- Lead the commissioning and validation of automated systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify automation opportunities.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial automation.
- Experience with SolidWorks for mechanical design and automation layout.
- Hands-on experience in PLC programming.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot automated systems.
