Software Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a Software Engineer with strong backend development expertise in Java and Spring Boot to join our high-performing team building mission-critical Homeland Security and Smart City solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Participate in the development of innovative security solutions for Homeland Security, Smart Cities, and Critical Infrastructure.
• Design technical solutions and implement backend services based on Java and Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with solution architects to develop, document, and maintain product roadmaps and technical specifications.
• Adhere to software development best practices and ensure proper documentation for maintainability and supportability.
• Provide support to IVVQ teams and on-site operations to meet 24/7 system uptime and operational requirements.
• Ensure all development aligns with Agile/SCRUM methodologies and established software processes.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot backend development.
• Proven experience in designing and building scalable microservices architectures.
• Solid knowledge of software design patterns and architectural best practices.
• Experience working with relational databases (e.g., MS SQL).
• Familiarity with containerization and tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
