Job Overview

We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to support daily manufacturing operations, production output, and shift management activities within a semiconductor manufacturing environment.

This role will lead production operations on the manufacturing floor to ensure smooth production flow, productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.

• Lead and supervise line leaders and operators to achieve daily production targets, quality, productivity, and yield performance
• Conduct daily shift handover meetings and escalate operational issues when necessary
• Monitor manpower planning, overtime arrangement, and consumable usage
• Ensure manufacturing, operational, and safety procedures are properly followed
• Provide coaching and guidance to operators and line leaders to improve operational performance
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to minimise operational and human errors
• Maintain discipline, housekeeping, and operational standards within the production line
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support maintenance, evaluations, and manufacturing projects

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Science, Manufacturing, or related disciplines
• Candidates with experience in semiconductor, wafer fab, electronics, or high-volume manufacturing environments will have an advantage
• Good leadership, communication, and coordination skills
• Comfortable managing production floor operations and shift teams
• Willing to work permanent 12-hour night shift arrangement
