We are seeking a proactive and technically driven L1/L2 Production Support Engineer to support business-critical applications within a fast-paced banking technology environment. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy troubleshooting complex issues, ensuring system stability, and working closely with technology teams to deliver seamless operational support.
You will play a key role in maintaining application availability, resolving incidents, and supporting systems that serve thousands of users daily.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Provide L1/L2 production support for enterprise banking applications and systems.
- Monitor application performance, system health, and operational alerts.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents within agreed service levels.
- Escalate complex issues and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
- Perform root cause analysis and contribute to preventive solutions.
- Support deployment activities, system maintenance, and operational readiness.
- Maintain support documentation, knowledge articles, and operational procedures.
- Participate in rotational shift coverage to ensure 24/7 application support.
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Application Support, Production Support, or Technical Support roles.
- Experience handling incidents, troubleshooting application issues, and production monitoring.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and SLA-driven support environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident.
- Exposure to banking or financial services applications.
- Basic Java development or debugging knowledge.
- Experience with SQL, Unix/Linux, or application monitoring tools.
- Knowledge of incident management, problem management, and root cause analysis methodologies.
